FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 10, 2019  Bradenton, Florida

Inspiration Academy Tennis student Sofia Rojas travelled from the Bradenton, Florida academy with head coach Ashley Hobson to compete in The Anguilla Cup down in Caribbean from November 4-9, 2019. The Anguilla Cup was the first of its kind in the small island and was a J3 level tournament.

The Sarasota resident Sofia competed valiant winning four matches in a row to make the finals before unfortunately falling to another American player at this high level, competitive tournament. Despite losing in the final of this tournament to a girl she has actually played before. Coach Ashley was pleased because the score showed that there has been a continuous rise in the play and the level of Sofia. He had said she had lost to this girl previously in a pretty routine manner but this time the match was competitive and close with Sofia actually having some chances herself which shows progress and that she is improving quickly.
