FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

July 1, 2019  Bradenton, Florida  Inspiration Academy will begin a softball academy during the 2019-20 school year and has named local travel ball coach Jim Kull as its softball director, the school announced today.

Kull, 47, who has spent four years at Miss Palma Sola softball and seven years at Miss Manatee softball, will begin immediately and will look to build the softball program from scratch as the school begins its seventh year in operation.  He is optimistic that he can deliver on building a Christ-centered program that helps grow girls from the inside-out.

“I’m thrilled to have this opportunity at Inspiration Academy.  I think seeing the success of the baseball program grow from scratch gives me a vision for what I believe we can accomplish through softball.”

The softball program has the facilities to grow the program as they will share the 27,000 square foot outdoor batting facility with the baseball academy.

Softball will also play its home games at the park adjacent to the school campus, Palma Sola Park.

Kull believes that his ability to relate to the kids and put them in an environment where they can grow and develop around mentors is going to be a separator for his program.

“Having people who are going to mentor the kids as they go through adversity is huge, and its something I pride myself on.  I believe that showing the kids you are willing to do whatever it takes to help them grow will foster a culture of accountability and growth.”

Utilizing Inspiration’s baseball program’s resources, who has won back-to-back FICAA State Championship, is also very appealing to Kull.

“Utilizing the technology that baseball has, along with the quality of coaches that they have, is going to be a huge plus for the program.”

The softball program will be looking for players across the area with the expectation of having their program started for Spring 2020.  Email Jim.Kull@InspirationAcademy.com if you are interested.
